Sally achieved a Masters Degree in Audiological Science, University of Manchester after initially qualifying with an Honours Degree in Speech & Language, Trinity College Dublin.

Following a 2 year clinicial training internship in Audiology in various centres of excellence in the UK, Sally qualified as an Audiological Scientist and returned to Dublin to work at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children Crumlin and at Tallaght Hospital.

Sally has also worked at the most specialised centre for Hearing Assessment and Treatment in Ireland at Beaumont Hospital, National Cochlear Implant Programme.

Sally was instrumental in setting up the Newborn Hearing Screening Program to test young babies hearing in Cork and in Ireland.

Sally works at the Ballincollig Medical Centre from Monday to Friday between 8.30 am and 3 pm.

Pinki Sawani

Audiology Assistant

Pinki is an audiology assistant, who besides helping in the clinic is great at helping play with children while Sally is carrying out the hearing test.
